And of course, for food shopping and that true New York experience Zabar's Deli is just a block away.
The American Museum of Natural History with the great Hayden Planetarium is half a block away. And the New York Historical Society and the Children's Museum of Manhattan are only a few minutes walk.
After visiting the Planetarium why not stroll through Central Park and hang out on the Great Lawn or visit Strawberry Fields and the John Lennon memorial.
With the #1 Subway at Broadway and 79tn Street, and the (B) and (C) Subway trains at Central Park West and 81th Street you're within easy access of all New York City has to offer.
